From there, we made our way to Horsetail Falls for a completely different energy.

During this part of the session, Daniel told me that when he was sixteen, he bought a necklace for the woman he would one day marry. Years later, he carried that same necklace overseas and gave it to Madison when he proposed. He’s also written her poetry. Yes, I cried. No, I’m not sorry.

He wrote:

we become one and touch what is divine
