Gina and Alicia (both she/her) welcomed the New Year in the most intimate, deeply “them” way possible — a private ceremony at home surrounded by their big, beautiful family, followed by a cliffside elopement session overlooking the San Francisco coastline.
From the moment they reached out, they made it so clear how important it was for them to have a queer photographer. They told me they felt seen, safe, and understood in my work, and honestly… that meant everything. There’s something special about photographing people who aren’t just hiring you for the photos, but for the way you hold space for them. They found me through TikTok of all places — which makes their whole story feel even more modern and full-circle.
After their sweet at-home ceremony, we drove out to the cliffs just before sunset. The air was crisp, the ocean golden, and the whole world felt like it was pausing just for them. They read their vows with the waves crashing below, the wind pulling at their dresses, and Gina — absolute icon energy — hiking the trail in her heels. I was cheering her on the whole time.
It was warm, emotional, grounded, and honestly just fun. Those are my favorite wedding days — the ones that feel effortless because the love is doing all the heavy lifting.
Gina and Alicia chose to start their year with intention, softness, and the kind of partnership that feels steady but still full of spark. Getting to witness that, and document it, was truly such a gift.
Here’s a look into their cliffside elopement — a perfect blend of quiet, queer joy and California magic.
