Some sessions don’t feel like work-they feel like witnessing art unfold. Madison and Daniel met us at Wahclella Falls with a simple vision: to reconnect with their inner child, to celebrate their playful love, and to let the wild landscape of the Columbia River Gorge hold them while they did it.

Daniel, who had bought a necklace when he was sixteen for the woman he’d one day marry, gifted it to Madison when he proposed overseas. He’s also written her poetry. (Yes, I cried. No, I’m not sorry.)
